Planning Application 2022/1249 proposes the development of land behind 129-135 Granville Rd.This would involve the complete removal of the historic Rifle Club from the site, (established c.1904), and the destruction of all the Allotments. PA 2022/1249 has attracted many Objections. Here is SGCARA’s submission.

The WBC Housing SPD Nov 2016 is part of the 2016 ‘Local Plan’. It contains planning advice, including  for Conservation Areas. Section 5 (called ‘Front Gardens and hardstanding for cars’ – Pg 89) offers guidelines for the creation of front-garden parking areas. (Document below)
