Music celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the orchestra, written around that time, eg Walton’s stirring music for the ‘Henry V’ film, starring Laurence Olivier, ‘Sleepy lagoon’ (‘Desert Island Discs’ theme), ‘Sailing by’ (late-night Shipping Forecast theme) & from ‘The Dambusters’ film.

Early alert for this show – right on our doorstep – because ‘Shakespeare in the Squares’ group are brilliant (for adults and children) & their shows sell out really fast. The cast are all ‘Actor-Musos’ so always lots of creative foot-tapping music in their fast-paced productions.
